BRENDA COLLINS
(Salsa & Latin Dance, Vintage Swing, Blues & Club Dancing, West Coast Swing):
Brenda is living her childhood dream as a professional dancer and teacher. She travels across the country bringing her passion for vernacular partner dancing to people of all ages. Whether it's Hustle for middle-school kids or octogenarians dancing the Balboa, everyone walks away a better, more inspired dancer. In addition to partner dances, Brenda has trained in and taught Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Gymnastics, African, and Middle Eastern forms. Her unique teaching style incorporates their focus on individual movement and body control with solid partnering techniques. Today Brenda conducts workshops, group classes, performance coaching, and private lessons in Salsa, Lindy Hop, Balboa, Blues, and West Coast Swing.

ANGELKO KRSTANOVIC
(Salsa & Latin Dance):
After graduating from Portland State University, Angelko began pairing his years of martial arts training and experience with dance. Angelko began studying Salsa in Portland. Before long his natural talents were recognized and he was invited to join the Salsa Performance Group, Salsa Con Sabor, where he was partnered with Brenda Collins. Two years later Angelko started teaching with Brenda. His dancing is characterized as smooth and flowy, matching his personality and engaging teaching style.

DONNA OEFINGER
(Afro-Cuban, Afro-Brazilian, Samba):
Donna Oefinger is the creative director and choreographer for Axé Didé. She has studied with many renowned Cuban and Brazilian teachers, including her primary teachers from Cuba, Teresita Dome Perez and Juan DeDios, and from Brazil her mentor Rosangela Silvestre. Donna has been performing dance since childhood and teaching dance in the Portland area since 1999. She has performed as a dancer and drummer with various groups, such as Omo Ire, Lions of Batucada, Milagro Bailadores, Black Angel, Jujuba, Interplanet Janet, and Axe Dide. Donna teaches all levels of experience and ages in a challenging and exuberant environment. Her community classes are held at Center Space and she is available for teaching and performing in public and private schools throughout Oregon and Washington. Oefinger is also Co-director of Center Space, a Portland studio and gallery that is home to classes in dance, tai chi, drumming, and other workshops in various movement forms, as well as a space for art exhibitions.
